Attempted murder, rape, and arson could all be added to Queensland’s new “adult crime, adult time” laws, as the second wave of legislation is put to parliament this week.

Queensland’s newly appointed expert legal panel has updated its youth crime laws to include 12 more offences they believe children should be tried for as adults.

Sally Sara talks to Keith Hamburger AM, former director-general of Queensland’s Corrective Services Commission , who says that youth crime has reached disastrous levels.
